Together with the “medialunas” this is another typical Argentinean pie. I also read somewhere during my Cheesecake recipe variations research, that American people use cream cheese for Cheesecakes, while Italian people use ricotta for the same kind of dessert. And that is where I understood why I also like this pie. It would be like a variation – cultural one – to the cheesecakes I love! Sweet crust filled with ricotta based cream. Just like the one I used to eat at home!
